Sažetak

Mobile phones have become very complex
devices through which we perform business
functions and transactions and use them in various
secure authentication schemes. Such usage leads
to the storage of various confidential data on
mobile phones, the security of which depends on
the authentication mechanisms on the smartphone
itself. In this paper, we present the results of the
research of the security mechanism (function) that
protects smartphones with fingerprint biometrics
and the resistance of the sensors against the
deception by false fingerprints.
